Short Head of Speaking Engagements
March 4, 2007
Well maybe my sarcasm about Chris Anderson receiving $34K per speaking engagement was misplaced. According to the Washington Post, U.S. presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani earns $100K per speaking engagement.
Former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani has continued to make paid speeches at a standard fee of $100,000 since forming his presidential exploratory committee last November, mixing personal business with campaigning in a way many of his rivals in the race cannot.
Like a Wigwam and a Teepee

Tom Slee’s dissection of The Long Tail continues with The Long Tail 5.1 – One Big Virtual Tent. In the post Tom claims Long Tail author Chris Anderson is just like a Wigwam and a Teepee…… two tents (TOO TENSE!!!!!!). Get it? <insert long groan here>
OK OK. Tom does not revert to really bad (but funny!!!!) humour, but all this talk about tents leaves me longing for warm weather and canoeing.
And I apologize for not having a tent image handy. IOU.
