Birthday Rose

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. This story is not about birthday cake but about a rose. Exactly one year ago today I gave this rose to a dear friend of mine for her birthday. She asked me to take some photos of her rose but it was evening and I couldn’t get a decent flash photography shot. I told her if she wanted a good shot she would have to leave the flower with me so I could try again with natural light.
A decision was made and one year later the lovely rose returns. I hope the decision was not too difficult. Happy birthday :-)
